Travelling To The Sportsground:

On Foot:

The Sportsground is less than a 1km walk from the Twon Centre - so Eyre Square / Galway Bus Station and Ceannt Railway Station are a 10-15mins walk away.

From Salthill (suburb) it is a scenic 3km coastal walk.

By Rail:

Ceannt Station Galway is located at the bottom of Eyre Square and is a five minute walk from the Sportsground. Turn left at the bottom of the station an walk up Forster Street. Go straight through the traffic lights and up College Road. The Sportsground is 550m on the left.

By Road:(please note there is no parking at The Sportsground on a matchday)

From the East, take the M6 motorway to the Coolagh roundabout. Take the first exit, followed by the third exit on the Martin roundabout. Follow the the Dublin road in past four sets of traffic lights untill you reach the junction at the Huntsman Inn. Take a left on College Road, followed by a right at the fork. The Sportsground is on the right hand side.

From the North (N17), Follow the N17 Tuam Road all the way to the Joyce roundabout. Take the first exit down Moneenagheisha Road. At the Lights take a right up College Road, followed by a right at the fork. The Sportsground is on the right hand side.

From the North (N84), follow the N84 Headford Road to the Kirwin roundabout, take the third exit towards the city centre. At thenext roundabout, (Bodkin) take the first exit up the Sean Mulvoy Road to the Joyce roundabout. Take the third exit down the Moneenagheisha Road. At the Lights take a right up College Road, followed by a right at the fork. The Sportsground is on the right hand side.

From the West (N59), follow the N59 Newcastle road to the Junction with the N6. Take a left over the Quincentennial Bridge to the Bodkin roundabout. Take the second exit up the Sean Mulvoy Road to the Joyce roundabout. Take the third exit down the Moneenagheisha Road. At the Lights take a right up College Road, followed by a right at the fork. The Sportsground is on the right hand side.

From the West (R336), follow the R336 straight to thr traffic lights at Kingston. Take a left up the Bishop O'Donnell Road and Seamus Quirke Road to the Browne roundabout. Take the Second exit and follow the N6 to the Bodkin Roundabout. Take the second exit up the Sean Mulvoy Road to the Joyce roundabout. Take the third exit down the Moneenagheisha Road. At the Lights take a right up College Road, followed by a right at the fork. The Sportsground is on the right hand side.
