The Connacht Clan will present Willie with this award after Friday's game against Glasgow.
Openside flanker Willie Faloon has been voted the Connacht Clan Player of the Year 2013 by you, the supporters. This is Willie's first season with Connacht, having moved from Ulster last summer in search of increased game time. We spoke with Willie during a player forum in the Clan Bar after his first game against Cardiff, and he revealed how he was settling into life in Galway and fitting into the team. Since then Willie has gone from strength to strength, becoming a firm fan-favourite. His relentless work rate, hunger and consistency have been extremely impressive this season and he has become a mainstay of the first team, proving to all players that if you come to Connacht with the right attitude, you'll be rewarded.
